YES, it’s true! I’m planning a Retreat for the whole family – schedule for September 2017 in Florence Italy. This Yoga Retreat is meant to be an opportunity for us to practice yoga, explore, relax, spend time together, and just get away. So why wait, start checking out the website.

FAMILY FRIENDLY ~ COMMUNITY BUILDING
Incrociata is VERY family friendly. Each of the rooms are equipped with a kitchenette. Why is the important? Because we all need some time to ourselves for a coffee, tea or just time alone. But having us all together on the same site allows for the opportunity to be together.
My friend (and AyurCare doula client) Nicole and I are going to track all the steps from landing to arriving at Incrociata. Don’t worry… I’ll be blogging about it, posting on the OmBalance Facebook page and all social platforms.

Therefore, stay tuned. You’ll see Nicole and I sitting out on the property, and heading into Florence for a gelato & coffee, and maybe a little shopping to inspire the creative flow.
Of course, there is a yoga studio fit for movement, meditation, and playing whatever games come to mind. Oh and yes there is a pool!

FITNESS ~ RELAXATION ~ SELF CARE
We all know that I practice yoga, swim (water yoga too), and walk on my treadmill for Self Care FITNESS.
I have regular massage, see a chiro (need to get back in to see you Denisa), spend time on my infrared mat, and use self abhyanga for Self Care ALTERNATIVE PRACTICES.
Meditation, restorative yoga, naps and good sleep (when not with a doula client) for Self Care RELAXATION.
Today I went to see my dear neighbor, student, friend Nola Rae Smith. She is a local massage therapist in Oak Cliff. It’s a real gift to have someone so close. Now, she is not the only massage therapist I see & know. I’m willing to share all my favorites with you!

Staying healthy requires eating right, taking time for yourself, being happy & mindful. All ways to get us to a good place ~ a time for our bodies to be ready to conceive, fit to feel good during pregnancy, and have the ability to bounce back (at your own pace) after delivery.
Consider seeing someone for acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic care. Maybe you are interested in Ayurvedic care. I’d be happy to help you find someone in your area. Remember to be mindful and see someone that has experience and expertise for you – fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, newborn care, care for the whole family.

Exercise – Walk Outside – The Benefits…
FRIDAY – WALK & LUNCH – Start on the Trinity Bridge Park & then over to Luck!
Friday on the Bridge! Last Friday, Ellie came out to walk with me. Beth & Ella came for fun on the bridge and then we went over to Luck where Erica and Charlie met us for lunch.
I’ll probably keep this up as long as the weather allows. Besides the opportunity it just hang out and build community, we are moving our bodies while getting a little vitamin D.
We all know how great it feels to be outside and our kiddos love it so much. We are all inspired to find a park, a mom’s group, something that gets us up and out the door!
I went searching the internet for some great sources of exercise with and without the kiddos. I’ve noticed classes are Klyde Warren offered thru the the downtown YMCA. Of course, you can drop by and see Erica’s hubby for Training with Tykes!
